My own sense is that the majority of the negative posts in this thread are by people who don't have a clue as to how an automobile dealership functions and are just blowing smoke.
And no, I don't work there nor do I have any vested interest. I'm just a very satisfied customer.

What an absolutely classless and ignorant post...watch the karma points fall!!!  Kudos to you for winning the Jackass Of The Year award.  For your information there are quite a few Audi enthusiast on this board that have had more than enough dealing with dealerships to post founded remarks on the new state of AoRH.

I must say that my own experience with AofRH has been positive in every respect. The new service manager has been very helpful and went out of his way to greet me soon after he started when I brought my car in one morning. The service advisors have been very helpful and impress me as being very customer -oriented. The quality of work out of the service department has been excellent. This has been my experience with all of Eitel Dahm's dealerships (BMW and Audi).

Its good to hear that at least some customers are leaving satisfied.

Can you expound on why you believe knowing how an auto-dealer functions correlates to judging whether or not you ("you" being any given customer) received good customer service (or, had a good 'customer experience')?  That I'm having a hard time with.

WTF!  Who the hell are you to make a generalization like that?

I've been dealing with AofRH for the last 7 years, I've known some of the best employees there (Engell, Mike, Andy, Brian) and I've been treated very well on numerous occassions.

When my two week old car was in there for a repair that took two months to fix I still gave them a 10/10 for service.
DO YOU KNOW WHY? BECAUSE ENGELL KNOWS HOW TO KEEP A CUSTOMER HAPPY.

Now I don't know who the fuck you are buddy but you'd better get a clue really quickly before you make stupid uniformed generalizations about the people on this board.

No SHIT!  Go Sam!  Is that NOT the purpose of this forum, to discuss good AND bad experiences with dealerships?  "...majority of the negative posts in this thread are by people who don't have a clue..."  dude, piss off and get a clue yourself.

Sorry to hear about the bad interaction at AoRH.  I started to see the downward slope right about the time Gordie left (nice to see you on the new board, Gordie!).  I was never treated with but anything with RESPECT from those guys, even though I am sure I used to be a pain in the ass to Andy sometimes.  Andy, Kevin, Engel, and Gordie - man those guys will be missed.  Doesn't it seem like all the things a company should NOT be doing?  These guys didn't just treat people like customers walking in the door, but friends.  That's probably why they would get Holiday Heinekens when I dropped my car off for service around Christmas.  Sounds like this new guy actually needs someone to piss in his cereal.

Now there's an ASSumption.  There are quite a few of us here who either have worked for or presently work at dealerships.  Others have their own businesses to run.  In any case, we all know how important customer service is. When it comes to dealerships, it is of the UTMOST importance that the customer be treated with respect.  P.E.R.I.O.D.  No excuses, Thank You.

Wow, you've got some nuts on you.  I'm currently working at dealership #6 for me, so I know my way around a dealership.  I've worked in good one's, and I've worked the bad.  I've seen Audi of Rochester Hills in its prime when all the right people were where they should be, and I see/hear it now as it is post/Engell.  There is a difference, and all of us here know how to recognise it.

And lastly, how would you like it if someone walked up to you not knowing a thing about you, and said that you dont know squat about your chosen profession?  Get a clue, and know your audience before you drop a dumb ass bomb like that.

I would check the IP of this guy. I bet he probably is the service manager of AofRH, now that will be funny.  But in all honesty, how could you make a statement like this.  One satisfied customer out of ten is still a pretty crappy rating in my book.  But more power to you if you suppor them!
I'm stocky.

Considering out of all the posts here on MCA this is the only one he's responded to or asked a question on I'm guessing he's a AofRH minion - IP Lookup please :  )

Here's the important thing and its true in any business.  When I walked in there they had no idea who I was.  I could have been looking to buy an RS4, or an A8 or any Audi for that matter, I could have been the owner of a fully stacked Q7.  You don't treat customers like that in any environment, heck I wouldn't treat anyone like that on the street.

I definitely hope he is a minion of AoRH.  Maybe then they'll get the message.  I'm still waiting for my parts btw and if I hadn't called to find out the status, I would have no idea whether they were on backorder or not.

nope but I am STILL WAITING for AoRH to call me about my parts.  Guess I'll have to call them and wait on hold.

I meant to post this last week, but Audi did call to survey my experience at the AofRH.

I declined the survey.

This is the first time in about six years that I did not give them the highest rating across the board.
I chose to decline the survey because I know that the points can be used to establish dealer compensation and its not fair to punish the entire dealership because of the actions of an individual.

It is fair to punish everyone as this the only way the whole dealer will get better even the best people need to be reminded to be better.

exactly, that is the way that Audi decided to setup the customer feedback.  AoRH may not realize the problem is as extensive as it is without it.

:iamwithstupid:  Fry them with the survey. If I was treated like that I would go immedeately find Eitel Dahm and have the situation handled from the top. I don't put up with that sh*t.
