Ya know, it's funny. I've heard it said that AoRH is a dealership that is successful in spite of itself.
While I've never personally had a bad experience there, I hear comments like this all of the time. Usually, this type of negative experience for the customer can be avoided simply by being pleaseant and genuinely concerned for the customer. Afterall, the customer is paying the staff.... but hey, what do I know...
At least there are non-dealer outlets for the enthusiasts.

I bought my car from AofRH, had my first service at Crooks and was so dissatisfied that I drove all the way across town to AofRH ever since (lived in Northville until my recent move to W.Bloom).  Unfortunately how things have changed.  I have noticed that over the past six months the service at AorRH has spiraled out of control.  As mentioned, you walk in there and you are a bother to them.  Last I checked, they are a service industry.  Well it doesn't take long before word spreads that there "service" is poor at best.  The common thread that I see between Crooks and the new Rotten Hills would be the Service Manager.  Hopefully the owners take note of the recent poor ratings they will be getting (surely from me) and will quickly make a change and get AofRH back to the reputation that brought me there in the first place.

the new service manager is there for himself. all he's worried about is money and how much time he be absent from his job without people noticing. i heard that at his last job when audit time came he bailed. he is going to squeeze as much money out of the deptartment as he can. he doesn't care about the customers. for example he gives the general manager a promise time when his used cars will be finished and ready to sell, but can't get customer cars done!! that puts used cars more important than anything. but thats were the general manager makes a lot his money. which is why aorh has no used car manager!! (kinky huh) anyone see anything wrong with that?? the managment at aorh (especially the general manager) treat the employee's like crap. so what type of service can you expect?? they got rid of all the employees who gave a crap. and the reasoning behind that was "the company is going in a new direction" yeah in the toilet. i too have noticed the changes a audi of farmington hills (cooks) and had a good experience with them. they might be worth trying out.

As many of you know I work for the Suburban Collection.  I work closely with Audi Farmington Hills formerly Bill Cook Audi.  We are 110% committed to changing our previous reputation to a positive one in Sales/Service/Parts.  John Field recently joined our team some time ago.  I've spoken a great deal with him regarding our new way forward and he too wants this location to succeed.  If I or John can be of any service please contact me via email or PM.  We know it's going to take one customer at a time to gain back consumer confidence.

I must say that my own experience with AofRH has been positive in every respect. The new service manager has been very helpful and went out of his way to greet me soon after he started when I brought my car in one morning. The service advisors have been very helpful and impress me as being very customer -oriented. The quality of work out of the service department has been excellent. This has been my experience with all of Eitel Dahm's dealerships (BMW and Audi).
And no, I don't work there nor do I have any vested interest. I'm just a very satisfied customer.

My own sense is that the majority of the negative posts in this thread are by people who don't have a clue as to how an automobile dealership functions and are just blowing smoke.
And no, I don't work there nor do I have any vested interest. I'm just a very satisfied customer.

WTF!  Who the hell are you to make a generalization like that?

I've been dealing with AofRH for the last 7 years, I've known some of the best employees there (Engell, Mike, Andy, Brian) and I've been treated very well on numerous occassions.

When my two week old car was in there for a repair that took two months to fix I still gave them a 10/10 for service.
DO YOU KNOW WHY? BECAUSE ENGELL KNOWS HOW TO KEEP A CUSTOMER HAPPY.

Now I don't know who the fuck you are buddy but you'd better get a clue really quickly before you make stupid uniformed generalizations about the people on this board.
