Audi Driveshafts

(1/1)

francois:
Just wanted to share my Great experience with the following company.
Most Audi driveshafts are not serviceable or parts to rebuilt them are no longer available.
The S6 Avant driveshaft was in need of a good rebuilt, the center bearing was gone and it let you know by the racket it made under the car at about 40mph!
So I found a place in ca that wills ell rebuilt driveshafts or rebuilt yours if they do not have a core on the shelf.
I shipped them my driveshaft ( they send me a shipping label) and once they received it, they shipped it back in less than 48 hours. The box arrive a little while ago and it looks brand new. new center bearing, new pressed U joint, you can tell it has been replaced by the way the new one is held in place, new CVs on both end and new gaskets included! Wow all that for $438 much cheaper than the other alternative a new one from the dealership.
they have driveshafts for ALL Audi models and just about every other cars!!
So 2 thumbs up and maybe this info can help someone on the forum.

Since the driveshaft was out, I replaced the rusted out parking brake cables, rear brakes since the calipers were frozen, I think I need to replace the heater core valve and she will be good for the winter.  ;D
