Turbo repair, upgrade, change, custom turbo

Over the years with Audi's, I have developed some hands on turbo knowledge and connected to an extremely knowledgeable and capable 'turbo' source for all my turbo/tuning needs.

It all started with a dreaded signs of a failing turbo on our B5 A4 1.8T (turned out the wastegate flapper had mostly vanished).

The intended quick fix was a 'China Turbo', but a friend hooked me up with Nick at TurboConcepts before the install. He STRONGLY advised (after pointing out just the OBVIOUS shortcomings of my POS I bought) against using it AT ALL.

He offered a very reasonably price factory rebuilt of my K03, but also pointed out the possibility of an upgrade for very little extra cost.

What I got (and still drive in this car) is a VERY capable hybrid. In the current setup, it runs 180 g/sec MAF (on GIAC PC16 file with 31 lb injectors), which exceeds most what most stand K04-015 are capable of.
Currently putting together a 'K04 Max', hoping to flow 220 g/sec, still using all stock connections.
