I would like to take a moment & share with you guys a few things about us. Some of you know us, some have heard of us while others are strangers to VAST.
While our interaction in the past with MCA was nonexistent, I am here to let you know that VAST is here for you.
We have a few great assets here in Michigan. One is AUDI itself and while HQ moved down south, they still are a major presence here. Second is Metro Detroit with three Audi dealerships, close proximity to road courses for racing and a big Quattro presence. And the third is VAST.
We are the industry leader in the development of performance for AUDI While there are others guys that might be a little better known & quicker to market with products. It's Mike's hard work that has paved the way for all of them. We do not advertise nor do we often gloat about what we do. Here at VAST we have a great time & produce an exceptional product and service. We hold everything to an extremely high level, from a simple oil change to a full custom engine build with turbochargers & install.
We are working on a lot of great things here at VAST, from new clutch designs to turbo development.
We currently have in stock a good range of VP racing fuels, along with OEM parts for every late model.
Not to mention we are starting to do downpipes, tunes, and exhausts for the B7 & B8 S4 & RS4.
We are not only a full throttle performance shop. We also do custom fabrication & regular routine maintenance. We have both performance parts & your everyday, off-the-shelf OEM parts.
We are always working on something new & exciting here at the shop. We currently received an ’04 Allroad from New Mexico and are swapping in a VAST built 01E transmission with different gearing and final drive ratio.
We are also working on the finishing touches for our B7 A4 2.0T turbo kit, which was first released in Summer of 2006. Our current shop car, the Shaggin’ Wagon, is a B7 A4 Avant Quattro (of course) that puts down 400WHP on pump gas. We have even resolved the low pressure fueling problem that this platform suffers from (in addition to the high pressure issue). We are hoping to have our third iteration of the turbo kit out by early summer 2011.
