Topic: my past b5 A4QM 2.8 30v sedan with a PES G1 supercharger and intercooled

since i've really never made a project thread of my very 1st audi that i bought, i'd figure i'll make one for those who are interested about it.

i bought my very 1st audi on Dec. 31, 2003. it was a 1998.5 A4 quattro with a 5 speed manual trans with sport suspension.

     
a couple of pics shortly after i bought the car.


had the stock stereo system swapped out with this setup. 2 10" L7 subwoofers, memphis amps, alpine headunit, alpine interior speakers. also as you can see in this pic i added a universal magnaflow rear muffler.


i swapped out the wood trim to oem b5 S4 aluminum trim


i swapped in a oem TT shift knob and blacked out the shift pattern since it was from a 6 speed


stock sport suspension with 18"x8.5" ADR Cypher wheels in gun metal


new suspension, H&R sport spring and Bilstein grooved sport shocks


had 35% window tint installed


stock 2 piece headlights that came with this car totally sucked as it didnt light up the raod at night worth a crap!!


swapped in oem 1 piece headlights which was a HUGE improvment. also installed sliverstar bulbs


switched out the stock taillights to these custom tails

i swapped out the stock exhaust to a b5 s4 forge cat back exhaust


rare PES G1 supercharger kit


custom intercooler for the G1


damn thats a tight fit!


boost gauge. she was making 10 psi iirc.




i switched to oem b5 S4 wheels. in this pic you can see the intercooler core pushing down the lower valance of the front bumper

So, whatever happened to the car?
Why are the speakers in the trunk facing rearward? Is that how they are always installed and for what reason.

I think your better off with the S6.  The A4 was cool but that whole supercharger thing on a N/A engine scares me. 

I didn't realize you had a system in that car, holy cow!

yeah that stereo system was crazy loud. i grew out of that stage
