FS: 1986 Audi 5000 CS Turbo

For sale is a 1986 Audi 5000 CS Turbo. Metallic gray/black in color.

Price $1,000.  Photos are at the bottom of this thread.

This vehicle has never been in an accident and has original paint. It does; however, have badly peeling clear coat on the hood, roof and trunk lid since it has been sitting outside / unused for the better part of four years.

Since the car is quite original the panels are straight as you would expect, but there is a long, light crease on the driver's side rear quarter panel courtesy of a not so respectful parking lot snow removal pickup truck driver at my former employer. (The crease also includes a very small scratch on the driver's side rear door panel). Other cosmetic problems include some minor rust on the lower rockers where salt kicked up in the lower wheel arches (mudflaps would have helped here). The front passenger side fender also has a few rust spots on the edge of the wheel arch above the wheel/tire. Outside of this the car is pretty good. There are some light nicks and such, but nothing out of the ordinary for a car of this age. ((Additional photos are able to be made available upon request)).

The mileage is 114,XXX.

Automatic transmission.

The vehicle runs and drives quite well.  The A/C compressor belt occasionally squeals a little on cold starts.  The driver's side window is not working either.

The interior is in pretty good shape for a 24 year old vehicle. The seats are black leather and the vehicle has black carpets. There are no major rips or tears, but the headliner is sagging in the rear.

The wheels are from a later model 1995 Audi A6. The tires are not new, but are in good condition and have relatively low miles on them.

This Audi would be ideal for an enthusiast looking to put a little time and effort into an older Audi either to make usable as a good daily driver or a nice winter car.

This vehicle is located in SE Michigan.
