SOLD- Grom Ipod adaptor- aux in $50
« on: August 09, 2010, 08:33:50 PM »
This is a great unit!  It replaces the CD changer with the adapter.  Choose disk 1 for the unlocked ipod- you choose what to play.  Disk 2-6 are your playlists.   You can also skip tracks in any mode from the head unit.  I got this in April, and now I have my new car with the SD card and Ipod input.

It also allows a 3.5mm input as well if you don't have an ipod.

Works from '98 on.  You may need a different cable for the back of the radio depending on year.

And a video of it working.

The cd changer in the radio will work just like the one in the movie. The adaptor replaces you external player.

You mean the radio keys?  I have two that I got on Ebay for $2.  If you have the double din you'll need 4.

What year is the a4?  You may be Ok with my cable, although you may need to cut off your CD cable to fit mine in (mine is 3 separate pieces that snap together to form 1 large piece- yours is 1 solid piece.   Or if you don't want to cut anything you just need one of these- http://www.gromaudio.com/store/accessories/cable-auds.html

PIE makes a version of it too: http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/PIE_AA3_HAR.html
