New Shoes
« on: June 24, 2010, 11:25:04 PM »
I'm getting some new shoes and wondering what everyone has and what they like/ suggest. For the past few years I've been riding on the Kumho Estra 711's. The latest set I got I was not impressed with and they have discontinued them too. I'd like to get the Eagle F1 but don't want to spend a grand either.

I want to get a good summer tire that has little to no road noise and it great in the rain.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, oh and if there is a good shop to go too that may give a MCA discount that would be appreciated too. ;)

I'm not sure about the wet handling, but the General Exclaim UHPs on my cars are the quietest tires yet.  Plus, at the time they were fairly cheap for the 225/45R17 size.

It's ranked 4th for noise comfort, 3rd for wet handling and 4th overall in the UHP category.  I guess it can't be all that bad and for $94/tire, it's not too bad.
