ok its time for an update on the old girl. early last i bought a used T04E/k26 turbo from a member on the QW boards and i did meet him in our caravan to S-Fest. When he bought the car it had a unknown turbo because it had no numbers on it and he posted about it on QW and the figured out that it was a T04E/k26 turbo. after S-Fest his motor crapped out on him and he upgraded everything and went with a bigger turbo. he took the turbo off the car and took it apart to find any marking on it to find more info about it. when he took it apart he accidently broke the stud on the coldside wheel.
he posted it for sale and i saw that it was for sale as is or he was going to rebuild it and sell it at a higher price. i emailed him asking that i wanted to buy it as is. so he sold it to me. i was going to get it rebuilt with billet wheels to cut down on the turbo lag. i got the turbo and decided to wait on getting it rebuilt.

i've been saving up my money the last few months and also got my tax return back i decided to send out the t04e/k26 turbo to get rebuilt. Marc got my turbo and said he didnt like dealing with the customer service of Comp Turbo and said he had a gt3071r chra he could sell me. so i went ahead and bought it.
while i was waiting for the turbo. i bought a new EM. i ended up buying the 034 H.O. RS2 EM with a T3 flange so if i decide to upgrade to a bigger turbo i wont be limited on what i can buy. since i bought that EM. i had Marc find me a T3 turbo housing so it can be bolted up the new EM. also i sent out my DP to get remodified to be a full 3" DP. the hotside housing that Marc recieved wasnt the right size he needed so he had to get the right one which ended up having a v-band and upgraded the DP to accept the v-band from the turbo housing.
