Will a P/S pump from a 2.7t S4 work on my A6 2.7t?

Mine died. Have a line on a new pump but they say it is from an S4.

Checked ETKA and ALLDATA and the part numbers differ. Possible is the way the lines hook up to the pump. So looks like the answer is no. E-mail Mike at Vastperformance and see what he says.

according to ecstuning.com the a6 2.7t and the b5 s4 both share the same part number for the timing belt kit.

Thanks guys, looks like I have to track one down. I have seen a few here and there. Hopefully I can track down a rebuild.
