I had 3 people lined up on my Bimmer last week and all have fallen through!!!! Argh!!! Meanwhile, need cash for a few things.
I just reposted this on Grand Rapids craigslist by owner, so you can search for it in about 15 minutes or so.
Details:
87 BWM 325e coupe
5-speed manual
HD_detachable radio/CD/USB
Manual sunroof (still opens, but could use new crank)
Burgandy on beige leather (seats in really good shape, carpet needs a good cleaning, few dash cracks)
New front tires
214,xxx miles
HVAC & rear defrost work
Power windows
ISSUES:
1) Exhaust....Cat is the end of the line :-)
2) Front driver side headlight is dim (thought it was the light, so replaced, but didn't fix it)
3) Rear brake line leak (discovered by a prospective buyer, who after looking @ the car w/o driving it decided it was too much of a project......whatever dude....drove it 70 miles a day w/o issue)
4) Rust-through on front rocker panels, right behind front wheel wells. Not really noticeable unless your within a few feet of the car
5) Paint fade & peel on the hood and trunk
6) Control module for tach/temp/gas gauge is inop. Speedo & odom still work as do all dash lights. System check computer above rear-view mirror also works; power mirrors don't.
I would really like to see this thing gone soon; like this weekend would be ideal!! One of my new clients hasn't come through yet (for a week, now) and I'm still waiting for my last paycheck from my last job, so cash is getting tight kinda fast.
I've got it listed for $1500 and I've been seeing them in that range in either better condition with 50k more miles and a couple non-runners in similar or worse shape than this. So....cash talks
