Happiness is these toy cars - nicely priced!  Think Johnny Lightning cars are gone forever they did a lot of VWs even real owners cars but, no Audi  :(  Not too keen on Hotwheels - Wiking from Germany does a good job - once in a blue moon at a flea market or swap meet a toy Audi may crop up - don't you just love it?

I'm not an expert on scale size - however there are very tiny about an inch from Wiking that are 1/87 scale - Tootsietoys did teeny tiny VW Bugs but, really old toy cars.  Matchbox is on Ebay all the time - Matchbox was British the car actually came in an old fashioned box of matches many, many years ago.  Some tin cars from Japan are worth a lot of money - if you are going to the Motorstadt show we might have a few spare Audis and VWs that they don't make anymore. Just keep looking they are out there!  I can pick up an extra RS6 Avant just in case somebody needs one. Meijers toy lady told me Matchbox is slow on delivery compared to the other toys - check Autozone and Advance Auto one or two can show up there.

thanks for the info! man i spend my money as fast as i make it (mainly on the cq right now), now i'm going to be on the look out for vw/audi matchbox type cars. i'm going to make it to motorstadt this year now matter what! last year i was suppose to bring my a4 (it was entered, now i can look at as my money went to a good cause) but couldnt finish the car in time >:( so this year if i run into problems with the a4 i can bring the cq. i would like to bring both but towing one with one or the other isnt a good idea

yup. i cant wait to go! i so wanted to go last year i was so disappointed i couldnt make it. i stayed up til like 4 a.m. trying to the a4 done and i just ran outta gas and passed out and didnt wake up til 10 a.m. or something like that. i posted about it over at dtw. i'm going to bring my a4 (hope nothing comes up with it to stop me from bringing it) and re-enter it (its going to be a stiff competition cause Renaissance is bringing his sc'd a4 too). when i bring the a4 at least everyone will be able to hear me from a mile away ;D

Found the Coupe quattro - never would have found it!  It's yellow with 16 on the hood - thinking about painting it and give away the others.

Thanks!

Wow, I just went to Walmat to buy one of those RS6 matchbox cars and couldn't find one.

I did however find a Audi A4 DTM 1/24th scale radio controlled car in a beat up box in the half off row. Go figure.

It's actually not bad for the $10 I spent...

Steve

What a find in Hell-Mart!  What's the brand?  Hell-Mart has some tiny tiny 1:72 scale RS4 and an Avant in a little plastic case did you see? We spotted a Beetle hauling a little camper in a plastic box from the same company & a VW Bus.  Wish they had an Audi Avant hauling a little camper.  We've got an extra RS6 Avant - Target has cars haven't checked there lately.  Thanks for the info!

Washed our car today - keep it clean!
