Jeff, what could be more romantic than a pizza dinner and a (racing) movie?  Don't cave into the peer pressure.

and Michelle knows where she is spending Valentines??  LMK how that goes when you break it down for her  :)

"24" sub"

OMG!   :o

I need to start greasing the skids so I can do this on 2/14, but I don't think it would be too much of an issue for me.

Maybe you could help coordinate the pizza, Ken? We're far enuf out in the boonies that no one delivers here, and when they did it was cold. So if you could bring some out from Town it mite work better, and you could insure a cheese-free option. And hit this for a map:

I'll offer up mine for a follow up meet. It's a bit tight, but could be fun:

108" diagonal 16:9 screen with Sony G70Q 8" CRT (old school) projector, Radiance XD video processor
Aerial 10T/CC3B/SR3, M&K SS150's & Earthquake SuperNova MkV-15 sub 7.1 surround
Meridian G98DH DVD & Meridian G68ADV SSP. Sony PS3

Room is only 20'x14', but pretty good acoustically. Drywall is suspended on resilient channel, with a bit more acoustical treatment now than shown in the pictures.

Cheers, Ian

Ian, nice setup!  I'm in for the 14th too.  This movie is good for wifes/girlfriends too.  Anyone would enjoy it.  I'm probably going to bring my 4yr old daughter. :)

Just to close the loop, it looks like 2/14, VD or whatever, is a bad idea, so consider that date cancelled, at least for the Salem Cinema. But how bout Sat 2/28? That's the last free Sat I have until maybe May. Better?
