Good to hear, but it will still take several more testamonials before I set foot in that place again.

Too many poor experiences with Lavery's myself.  I'm with Theta Tau, it'll take time to repair the relationship.

Glad to see them taking action.  Hopefully we can have yet another good Audi dealer again.

I bought my S6 there in 1995 and it has been bad since then.  There have been more service managers and write up people there then you can count with a computer and it has never been gotten any better.  Bought a 01 Allroad there that was nothing but trouble (shotty work, bad attitude because I knew as much about the work being done as the mechanic and more then the write up guys and the manager).

I've got $5 that Captain111 is employed at Laverys in the service dept.  Nice try but I'll wait for a real customer to give a founded opinion.

even if he is its worth a shot.  I'll give him the benefit of the doubt even if he is in that situation that they are honestly trying to make repairs.

I've been there a couple of times for minor jobs and everything always went well.  Most recently (Sept. 05) was a speaker fix and the driver's seat back repair.  Both fixed the problem.

It would at least show that they're paying attention though.  And that's a good enough start for me.

Was at Lavery yesterday for the 5k service on the Avant.  I was quite pleased with my visit and thought there was noticeable improvement.

1)  When we called to make the appointment we didn't have to wait 2 weeks like usual, they actually offered to get us in the same day, but that didn't work
2)  When we showed up we were greated quickly by the service rep.  He did a quick walk around and then asked if there was anything else we were in for.  I did have 2 "Walk-ins" and shared them with him (Squeeky driver window during descent and driver side wiper blade missing on the way down)
3)  Car was washed (this didn't happen to much in the past)
4)  Both "Walk-in" items were fixed on the spot; no need to return after they ordered parts.  I'm not sure if they even needed parts to fix, but that was a pleasant surprise.  Based on past experience, I definately thought I'd be bringing the car back.
5) Service rep walked us out to the car and had me check the performance of the two "Walk-Ins"

One area they still need to work on is time.  The service took longer than we were told when we dropped it off.  I chalked this up to the unknowns involved with my "Walk-in" requests and the fact that it was there over lunch.  I personally like to receive a phone call to get a status check if it's going to take longer; I had to call them.

All in all, I was pretty happy.

In the past they washed cars at Jax car wash across the street  but they have had a tent in the back with a guy hand washing when weather permits so maybe they did not run your car through Jax (it sucks).  A long time ago a Car was wreaked on the during the drive over ( Across Woodward) to Jax so it is bad enough that they were running Porsche and Audis through a crappie auto car wash they have to cross a major road with a porter behind the wheel.  Lets just say that it is very hard for a young person not to see just how fast a car is.
