It's not just Walled Lake.  Downriver and Dearborn are both full of slow drivers as well.  Probably even slower than Walled Lake, actually.

I live downriver... It's only slow if you are on the main roads which are crowded.

Nowhere near as slow as driving in Rochester or the n.e. Burbs.

Van Horn is a terribly slow road.  And Allen Rd can be very frustrating downriver.  Well, West and Jefferson as well.

At least Maple has a number of passing spots along it.  Like where it goes to 3 lanes from Welch to M5.  And those roundabouts are great passing locations if there's a clear lane because nobody understands how to yeild.

Allen and Northline is one of the worst intersections in all of downriver....

Take Fort Street if you are going North or South between Detroit and Gibraltar.... it is 2 lanes at minimum, and 3 lanes for most of the length. Watch out in Southgate though, slows down to 35 mph and Southgate cops suck. 45 mph from Eureka to sibley. 50 mph from sibley til it ends.

Pennsylvania road for East/West..... less traffic than Eureka or Sibley. only a 2 lane road.... but nothing really on it once you go west of telegraph. I've hit up to 150 mph on Pennsylvania when I used to have my gsx-r 750 (but you can go fast anywhere on a bike)
