SnoDrift Rallye 09

Hard to believe but this event is just over 2 months away.  Jan 30-31 (Fri and Sat), Atlanta, MI.  We normally go up Thurs night.  I'll be DRIVING my 81 urq to the event.  We've also got a 68 911 and a 69 912 driving up, the more snow the better ;D  There is another urq (black 83) driving down from Newberry and he will be using it as the stage closing medical sweep car!  This is always a fun weekend.  Anybody who can make it, respond here and we'll all try to hookup.

We were just talking about this at work. I think myself and a few of my friends are in. Curt you might remember us from that night in front of Auto Europe during the dream cruise. Cigars and beer weekend 4 sure!

My dad and I have been going every year for quite a few years now.  He probably wants to take his VW, but there's no way that thing will turn around on some of those tiny roads, so we may just take my BMW (with quattro) instead since it has DSC and gets better fuel economy (plus a larger fuel tank) than the S4.

Absolutely!  As this thing gets closer we should figure out a meeting place somewhere.  Last year they had the cars in service in downtown Lewiston and there's a good little bar right on the corner there ... that's one possibility anyway.

That sounds great! I got the hall pass from my wife. I'll be talking with the rest of the guys here at work. I think its already a done deal we are stoked.

I've actually never seen a Pro rally before. I'll be photographing it for sure.

Those videos are great! I think its really hard to shoot exciting video of cars. At least for me.

Looks REALLY cold in those pics . . . Better bring the "Hot Damn"! ;)
