I thought I had posted before about a twin supercharged Chevy 350 V8 stuffed into one of those.  It's not the cleanest looking application with the giant scoop, but I imagine it goes pretty good.

Too bad it isn't a Porsche.  All of the 914-6's built by Porsche had VIN's that started with 914.  This one is a VW built 914-4 that has had a 911 engine stuffed into it.  Not very nicely done either.  For instance, the oil tank that is laying in the trunk should be tucked under the left rear fender.  Unless a lot of suspension work has been performed, this won't live up to the legendary Porsche handling.

There's nothing fake about the handling of a 924 GTS, or 944 Turbo in the right hands.  Derek Bell still swears by his.  Those things handle better than most 911's.

i didnt say anything bad about them. this is just in the eyes of the factory.

ya there's nothing fake about the 924GTS...too bad there's only a few in the world.  The regular 924 handles really well but it doesn't have the power to get out of its own way.
