Shawn's urS6-->RS2 project

Well the project is under way:

Today I ordered the majority of the parts that are needed for this project the list is long, that is all except the TURBO and ECU. I decided to go true and tested RS2 with this car instead of going silly like some of my friends would you know who you are!!! I feel that although I could get a lot more power out of the motor, it would be more risky and less reliable!

Also I feel a urS6 with 996/993 brakes/ 2bennet camber plates, rs2'd motor, stromung exhaust, nicely lowered with H&R V8 springs...could fetch a little bit of money where as a car with all kind of welded crap would scare off anyone looking at it except maybe Ingo, Pete, Castle and my Texas friends Ken, James or Jimmaaay!

I will list all the parts on order later!!!

Maybe!

Castle:
wow you have all sorts of cool toys now, don't cha?  You know Shawn, they say go big or go home so maybe you should build the motor and put a big varmint sucker turbo on it...just my $.02  :)

yes, but that is just so insane :)

I agree with true RS2 Shawn.  If you want all that hybrid turbo stuff then maybe a UrS-car isn't for you is becomming my beliefs.  There's better ways to get more power over the standard RS2 turbo/ mani, injectors, and software.  Lehmann was on the right track with heads and a nicely built bottum end.  My next go at an UrS-car is exactly that, a fully built Lehmann spec RS2'd motor.  If I can find a very rare RS2 sport turbo, that would be the cherry...

Castle:
if you can't break the tires loose in 4th gear then whats the point??  :)
