Speedy I got your txt . . . Sorry just been CRAZY busy with work the past month or so. I did get it out on the track yesterday with 3 Balls Racing Club. We were at Waterford Hills. The car ran fantastic. Its a whole new track now with the added power from this motor. The biggest learning curve was coming out of Swap apex 2. I used to run this full throttle off the apex and into the front straight. Doing this with the new motor almost by a hair had me on the gators a few times ! ! ! The next was coming out of the Skeet house going up into Table Top. Usually a pain in the ass corner where you lose momentum and only get it back climbing the hill. Out of second gear here the car was ripping and I was back into third before ascending the hill. I maybe looking into a new windage tray . . . had a few issues with what I thought was high oil temps. A little more thought and research makes me think it was the oil sloshing around in the pan. Next event for this car will be Grattan. Can't wait!

Hey man got your txt . . Not sure if I am going now? Did some research on what it takes
to take the pan off. What a pain in the nuts! Looks like the whole sub frame needs to come out. As well it's going to be a really messy job. Know anyone with a lift? This may have to wait until winter. I'll keep you posted.

you can always come over and use the lift.
You might be able to just loosen the subframe and have it rest on a tranny jack.
Later

bummer. really the sub frame needs to come out to take the oil pan off!? i know its been awhile since i've been under the hood of a CQ but i dont remember if that has to be done. i'll have to look at my bentley book that i have. Brad's (ThetaTau87) parents have a lift at their house.

I've had a few people tell me it can be done by just letting the subframe rest on a jack stand. Francois THANK YOU FOR YOUR OFFER on the lift ! ! !  I see an all nighter in my future . . .  So as of now I am still planning to make Grattan. Ill keep you posted.
