Steve's European Auto for alignment
« on: January 04, 2007, 01:39:59 PM »
I had my car aligned after Christmas.  Total was $180 and I used a $20 coupon from their newsletter I get a few times a year.  I was in and out in just over two hours.

Thumbs up!

By the way, they have expanded to add two more lifts and are now doing work on all makes of cars.  They are also getting out of the collision business themselves.  I had a nice chat with Steve while I was there.

Steve's doesn't get much attention around our forum, usually because some folks think their pricing is high, but they do good work, they are cheaper than a dealership, and heck, Stefan had to sleep now and then!  ;)

Steves has never been a bad place for service, but ever since they quoted me 1700 for shocks and springs plus install, that was the end of my relationship from there.  The only reason I go there is for APR, but if they were more honest about their pricing, I'm sure people would consider their place too.
I'm stocky.

Steve is a great guy he can do a lot of different things and he has a large staff so he can get cars in and out fast...that all adds up to overhead...not dishonesty just economics.

With Bruce's Wheel alignments closed I may be headed back to Steves.  I had a bad first experience but I'm willing to give them another shot.  I will say that as soon as Stefan gets an alignment rack *hint hint Stefan* I'll be headed to GMW
