just ask a dealer to pull out ur radio. mine did it for me.

Does a coat hanger even fit in those slots?  I would be afraid I'd tear up the coating on the face of the radio.  I think I'll take your advice Vin and have the dealer do it.   Supposed to go up there tomorrow to take a look at an Avant anyway.
