You guys are WAY behind the times.  I was all over turbine boats since I saw the 2000 Hudson River Poker Run on Speedvision and Jet Set ran 178 mph!

Actually, not this weekend, but next weekend there may be some turbine boats running on the St. Clair River during the offshore races.  And there's even some 170 mph piston powered boats.  :)

Actually, that 2nd vid is more like rallying for boats.  There's a navigator and a driver.  He tells the driver wich way to go with hand signals.

Those are ok, but this is a cool yacht.  It's made by the same company who made Paul Allen's Octopus.

Hmm.  Must've had a fascination with Navy Destroyers.  :-\

Why else would you want to have a military grey colored yacht?

To stand out in the crowd of megayachts?  I think it's kinda cool.  Maybe a bit intimidating.  I bet smaller boats move out of the way quickly!

Yeah, I guess.  Probably not something you want to take out to the Persian Gulf with, or other conflict areas.  They'd think you were a miltary target.

Good point!  I think it's more for cruising between the Cayman Islands and Monte Carlo.  :)
