That takes way more than looking down and going a bit too fast to hit a toll booth like that.  Either that driver was suicidal or drunk.  Every toll booth I've ever seen has rumble strips at least a 1/2 mile from the booths to makes sure even the most thick headed idiot knows to look around and slow down.  There is no way you could plow in to a toll booth like that and not know it was coming.  I just hope that there wasn't an attendant in that booth, or they got out with out being burned.

I think he was too worried about the cop that was chasing him that showed up moments later.

Well, he's not worried anymore, that's fer sure.  Can you imagine being the toll booth attendant behind that concrete barrier?!? Idiot driver! Natural selection.

if you look close, you see someone either the driver or the attendant flying out near the both... I think?

their is a number of things that could have happened to the driver to make them crash like that, like a seizure, or some other medical reason. but still that was F*in crazy i hope all that could be saved is ok.

Funny you should mention that seizure thing:

"Authorities suspect the car's driver, Bernard King, suffered a seizure as he approached the Great Egg Harbor toll plaza on the Garden State Parkway May 10. King, 52, of Middle Township in Cape May County, was traveling an estimated 65 mph when he hit the concrete divider and toll booth on the highway's southbound side, State Police said. King worked as a dealer at the Atlantic City Hilton Casino Resort and was headed home at the time of the 8:25 a.m. crash, police said. He died on impact. The toll booth was unoccupied."

wow did i call that or what lol still crazy what can to a person that has siezures and just won't admit it because they know they will lose their license. you know it comes to a point in everybodies life that you just can't drive anymore regardless of what you feel and think about it. you have to think about all the other people on the road that you can hurt if you continue to drive. i know i would be pist if some one told me that i could drive any more because of what ever reason but i would think about the other drivers and just suck it up ad get over it.
