Liar liar pants on fire!!!
« on: March 23, 2007, 12:55:04 AM »
Saw a guy in a b7 audi a4 2.0t, in a parking lot, and we exchanged a few words.  Asked him what is done to his car, he said a garett turbo with GIAC software making 415hp and 385 tq.... :o :o :o :o.  I was like holy crap, didn't know they are making them already.  I had my doubts, so i asked him can I see him run, and yea...No....The car moved..but not 415hp to the crank move.  I said to him to join our site if he wants to learn about his car and left.  Long story short, kid bs'ed me....unless he wasn't flooring it.  Why lie about mods..?  Dumb little jedis....sigh.. :-\ :-\ ::) ::) ::)
I'm stocky.

Haha, that's hilarious.  I love it when people try to BS me about their car because most of the time I know more about their car than they do.  I always underestimate my car's power when I bench race.

I remember seeing some episode of Cribs where the guy said he had a custom V12 installed into his new charger.  Strangely though, he wouldn't open up the hood.  I about fell off the couch laughing.

lol......too funny.   speaking of DCX....saw a new Avenger on my way into work.  front look decent, back is yuck.   caught the rear 3/4 view and it looked they chopped off part of a caliper and replaced it with a trunk.   what is dodge doing??/

300c looks cool.   miss the stealth/conquest models.  wife likes the early 90's dakota's.   after that, Chrysler doesn't do much for me.  Sorry Doc Z.     8)

...haha sooooo true. You know these people are easy to pick out too becuase their knowledge is basic and when they talk about their car it sounds scripted as if they're regurgitating info from old issues of Euro Tuner magazine.. :D

r u serious???  u r stating that Chrysler has good products that might sell??  is that correct???  just out of curiousity, have you seen in the past two yrs how many vacant lots are holding Chrysler products???  State fairgrounds on 8 mile, just south of Metro on 275 and a handful of others.   Not too long ago, last yr maybe, I heard corporate was offering dealers something $750/vehicle if they would take on additional inventory.  Dealers said basically "we can't move what we got"

now that's said......paying dealers to move cars when the dealers are so slow they can barely pay customers to move cars.

meanwhile......AUDI   8)  having record sales mnths back/back/back.....and w/o 0%.  It pays to make good products that sell themselves......not might sell.   It's why the big 3 have had such a hard time catching up for the past 20yrs.
